Wildfire2026: UK Wildfire Conference returns on 10–11 November 2026 at Headingley Stadium, Leeds, bringing together wildfire professionals, researchers, policymakers, land managers, emergency responders, industry experts and thought-leaders from across the UK and beyond. As the UK Wildfire Conference’s biennial flagship event, Wildfire2026 will provide a vital space for shared learning, practical insight and cross-sector collaboration at a time when wildfire risk continues to demand joined-up thinking and action.
This year’s theme, “New Perspectives — Shared Solutions,” reflects the need to rethink how we approach wildfire challenges and recognise that no single organisation, sector or discipline can address the complexity of wildfire risk alone. Through expert-led sessions, discussion and networking, the conference will explore new ideas, research, innovations and practical strategies that can help communities, professionals and decision-makers strengthen prevention, preparedness, response and recovery.
